Queen!: consists of the works Metamorphosis, and De drag. The works are presented through film, installation, and sound. All the work thematize identity within homosexuality and drag queens.

“Due to former education as a classical pianist, music and sound has a big importance in my work. I mainly work with time-based projects such as film, sound installations and musical performances. I use sound both as situation reinforcement and as an exclusively independent expression.

Thematically I focus on the potential friction that can arise between individual expression and the norms in our society. Individuals with different sexual orientation or approaches are often my main focus, especially considering how sexual minorities stand outside many established communities.” - Marte Gunnufsen
